Advanced Features
The Advanced tab gives you swift access to an array of advanced features, among them the Memcached memory object caching system and the Varnish Cache web accelerator, which will help you optimize your websites and apps without the need to leave the Control Panel. Depending on the website hosting package, these tools are either included by default or are offered in the form of easy-to-get upgrades. InnoDB and NodeJS support is offered as well.
Varnish
Varnish Cache is a web application accelerator also referred to as an HTTP accelerator. You can install it in front of any web server that speaks HTTP and configure it to cache the contents. Varnish Cache is really, really fast and will increase your web site's loading speed. One of the chief virtues of Varnish Cache is the flexibility of its principal configuration mechanism, VCL, which enables you to choose how incoming requests should be handled.
Memcached
Memcached is a general-purpose memory object caching system for boosting the load speed of dynamic database-powered web sites. It is used to lower the number of times an external data source (such as a DB or API) is read by caching data and objects in RAM. The Memcached distributed memory caching system uses a client/server architecture. The Memcached distributed memory caching system is employed by some of the most traffic-heavy websites on the web and is supported by famous web apps like Joomla and WordPress.
Node.js
Node.js is a platform for writing highly scalable Internet applications. Written in JavaScript, Node.js uses an event-based, asynchronous I/O model that makes it lightweight and efficient, excellent for real-time data-heavy Internet applications. Node.js uses Google's V8 JavaScript engine, libUV, and a number of in-built libraries.
InnoDB
InnoDB is the default database engine for the MySQL open-source relational database management system. A database engine is the main software component that a DBMS uses to create, retrieve, update and delete data from a database. Its latest release features considerable improvements in efficiency, reliability and usability. InnoDB offers the standard ACID database transaction attributes, along with referential integrity support. It is included by default in most binaries distributed by MySQL AB.
